This book was born from the most pure feeling in the world, love. It is so easy to let it escape, nevertheless thanks to all that is good, beautiful and inexplicable; love is here, very close to me. The truth is that I cannot describe that which pushes me to write these poems, but I can say that it is something so beautiful that I feel must share.
We all love, we all suffer and we all cry, but there are so few of us who are capable of expressing our feelings without the fear of been judged by a frivolous and ignorant world, a world of superficiality. In a world where materialism reigns we pretend to be made out of metal. Every minute people feel the need to relieve their feelings by taking refuge in absurd things like alcohol and drugs, because in reality what we really want is to hide what we truly are: human beings, sensitive to so much pain, anxiously waiting to find someone to listen to us, but we show a rehearsed pose and a frigid face to the world, as if nothing were wrong. We are part of the façade that society has taught us to perform. My friends, with me there are no poses. I know that you have loved and I know that you now love. I know that you have suffered and I know that you now suffer. In this book I want to show you how we human beings are brothers, because we share so many feelings in common. From all these feelings, the greatest one is love, the one that truly rules the world. It is love which has inspired me to write this book. Huellas En La Arena is made of approximately 100 poems which were created while watching the ocean, accompanied by a notepad and a pen. The book is made of 7 chapters titled: "Love Pure Love", "True Abstract", "Absolute Happiness", "Immortality", "In the Past", "Feeling" and "New Age", where I not only praise the ocean and it's perfect components, but I praise love, it's glories, it's tragedies, and it's happiness.
